Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Chamberlin Studio, a Chamberlin Enterprises company (“we,” “us”), about your use of chamberlin.systems and of any system we run for you. By using the website, sending a request, or signing in to a system, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use them. You can always reach us at (231) 242-3064 instead.

About Chamberlin Systems

Chamberlin Systems is a service of Chamberlin Studio in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Each system is built for one person or household and holds their calendar, tasks, notes and the other pieces of their week, with an AI assistant inside. Information on this website is general and can change.

Your system and sign-in

• You must be 18 or older to have a system or request one.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in and for the people you ask us to add to your system.
• Private staff links work without a password, so anyone with the link can open those checklists. Share them only with the person they are for, and ask us or use your Homes page to make a new link if one is shared by mistake.
• Tell us right away if you think someone has used your sign-in without permission.

Using the service

Please use the website and your system only for lawful, personal and business purposes. Do not:

• Use it to harass anyone, or store information you have no right to keep.
• Try to reach anyone else's system, get around security, or test for weaknesses without our written permission.
• Overload the service, send automated requests, or copy or scrape it.
• Upload anything harmful, such as malware.

We may pause access to protect the service, our clients or others, and we will tell you why when we can.

Your information

What you put in your system is yours. You give us permission to store it, show it to you and the people you add, and process it (including sending it to the AI provider when you ask the assistant something) only to run and support your system. When you add information about other people, you confirm you have the right to keep it. When you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely.

The AI assistant

Your system includes an AI assistant. It can make mistakes, so please check anything important, especially dates, times and amounts. It makes changes only inside your system, shows you every change, and lets you undo it. It drafts replies but never sends email or texts, makes calls, makes payments, or agrees to anything on your behalf, and you are responsible for what you choose to send. It is not legal, medical, financial or tax advice. Each system has a monthly limit on assistant use that keeps costs predictable; past it, the assistant keeps handling simple requests until the month resets.

Connected services

When you connect a calendar, an email account or a venue's event feed, that service's own terms apply, and we are not responsible for its availability or accuracy. A connected calendar is shown as a copy that refreshes; changes are made in the original calendar.

Fees and your agreement

This website does not set prices. What you pay, what is included, and how changes are billed are set in the written proposal and agreement you sign with Chamberlin Studio. If anything on this website differs from that agreement, the agreement controls.

Closing a system

You can ask us to close your system at any time. Ask first and we will give you a copy of your information. After a system is closed we delete its information within 30 days, as described in our privacy policy. We may close a system as your agreement allows, or right away if it is used to break the law or these terms.

Text messages

Chamberlin Studio request updates. If you check the optional text box on our request form, we may text you about your request, such as setting up a time to talk.

• Message frequency varies with your request. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to stop texts at any time. Reply HELP for help, or call (231) 242-3064.
• Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase. We do not send marketing texts.
• Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
• See our privacy policy for how we handle your number. We never share it for marketing.

Our work

The website, the design and software of the systems, and the Chamberlin names and logos belong to Chamberlin Studio and Chamberlin Enterprises, unless your signed agreement says otherwise. You may view and print pages for your own use. Please do not copy or reuse them without our written permission. Other names and marks belong to their owners.

Disclaimers

We work hard to keep the website and every system accurate, secure and available, but they are provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that they will always be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful code, or that the assistant's answers will always be right.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Chamberlin Studio is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that come from using or being unable to use the website or a system, and our total responsibility for any claim about the website is limited to $100. Claims about a system you pay for are limited as your signed agreement says. These limits do not change rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

Michigan law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. If you have a concern, please call or write to us first, and we will try to resolve it with you within 30 days. If we cannot, the dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts serving Emmet County, Michigan, and you and we agree to those courts.

Changes and general terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell people with a system about important changes before they take effect. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement about the website; your signed agreement covers the system we build and run for you.
