Accessibility statement
Effective and last updated October 15, 2026.
Chamberlin Studio wants chamberlin.systems and every system we build to be easy to use for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our commitment
We design and build with accessibility from the start, test as we go, and fix problems people tell us about.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) explain how to make websites more accessible for people with disabilities. This website and the systems are designed and built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we follow the newer WCAG 2.2 where it adds more. They have not had an independent audit, so we describe them as partially conformant: we test them ourselves as described below, some parts may not yet fully meet the standard, and we fix anything reported to us.
How we checked
Self-evaluation by the builder, Chamberlin Studio, in October 2026: automated checks with axe-core on every type of page at computer and phone widths, plus manual checks with a keyboard alone, at 200% zoom, at a narrow 320 pixel width, and with reduced motion turned on.
What we did
- Text and controls meet contrast requirements, and every color in a system is checked before it is offered.
- Every page has a skip link, clear headings, labeled form fields and landmarks.
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring, including dialogs and side panels, which close with Escape.
- Changes, confirmations and errors are announced to screen readers.
- Animation is light and stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Pages reflow at narrow widths and zoom without losing content.
Known limitations
- Calendars, email and venue events connected from other services show their own titles and descriptions, which we do not control.
- The calendar's week grid is easiest with a pointer; the same events are listed day by day in the agenda shown on phones and in the day view, and the assistant can read your schedule to you.
Technology relied upon
HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA. Designed to work with current versions of Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox, and with VoiceOver, TalkBack and NVDA.
