ChamberlinSystemsBot
Effective and last updated October 15, 2026.
If you saw ChamberlinSystemsBot in your site's logs, this page explains what it is. It reads public event calendars so people with a Chamberlin system can find shows, then sends them to your own site to buy tickets.
What it is
Chamberlin Systems is a service of Chamberlin Studio in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Some of the private systems we build include a list of shows in a city. The scanner keeps that list current by reading venues' public calendars once a night, around midnight Eastern.
What it reads
Only public listing pages, calendar feeds and sitemaps: the show's name, performers, date, time, room, price and the link to your page. Every listing links back to your own page for tickets. We never buy, hold or resell tickets.
How it behaves
- It identifies itself as ChamberlinSystemsBot, with a link to this page.
- It follows robots.txt, including Crawl-delay, and stays out of anything you ask crawlers to skip.
- It waits between requests to the same site and reads each page at most once a night.
- It never signs in, submits forms, or gets around waiting rooms or bot protection.
